My boss was at a large company meeting out of state. One night they had a banquet and she got wayyyy too drunk. She put her head down at the table during a group photo and was getting sick in the bathroom. She had to be excorted to her hotel room. All of the managers and presidents were there and saw it. Do you think she will get fired?

Not likely.

Getting drunk at an off-site isn't usually something you get fired for...If it were a day time event, and the company was not sponsoring the alcohol, then I might have a different answer.

Meanwhile, all she did was take too much of what the company was offering, which isn't something people get fired for.

She may have to do some extra work to get promoted, though, or might be embarassed enough to quit on her own.

If it is an internal meeting without customers and the company is sympathetic, there will mostly give her a severe reprimand but allow her to continue provided she does not misbehave in future.

Anyway, unless she has really destroyed the company's name, will they really kick her out. Other wise, it will be a warning and let off.

She can still apologize to everybody and could say that personal problems made her behave that way. She still has a chance.

Not really.
If she talked something that is unwarranted. then she may be in for trouble.

But, no one sacks, just because an employee was drunk.

Best thing is for her to apologise the people who were around.

It was a company party and you're worried about this behaviour?
Send her over to the UK.
It's standard behaviour here.

If she shagged a few people in the toilets she'd be up for promotion.

No. Unless she did something against company policy.

Probably not. But her future at the company is probably over.

i doubt it as probly one of the directors made there way to her room or maybe even a few of them and they probly had a orgy and all lived happilly ever after. and she might get a pay rise. if this didnt happen it should have as it would have helped her careere.
