The internet affords us the perfect testing ground on race relations in America and across the world. It is amazing the racist things people will say behind the keyboard but would never say in public.

Anonymity. By that I mean that are minds are meeting and we have no idea what race we are talking with (unless it sounds foreign with terrible English)!! I am trying to say that with everyone behind their Avatar or their Male Head Pic or with their dog or cat up there to represent them-----------------we can all share things and get to feel close and mostly, interact with other races when we don't realize that they are from another race!!
So our anonymity is golden when it comes to racial prejudice being removed because we don't know them unless they have a profile or chose an Avatar from another race. We can tell some foreigners by their grammar and writing, but you can't prove it.
If you DO wonder who you are 'talking to' I click on their picture and find out as much as they want me to know. I am hoping this is a mixing pot though and we come to understand each other and break down walls we don't even know we've built!!!
Good Luck!! @8=)

as they told anonimity is the start of fighting agains racial prejudice...

if you are on the net for many years, had go through all the chat programs geting to know all the foreigns out there, you will be more open, at least you should.

it will have agood effect as on the web and chat programs that ppl will not be impressed about your outlook, but what you can say, how you can talk with everyone... this is the most important to get through those barriers, to can start to talk with everyone, and in this will help the internet where you see only code names.....

Over the internet, There is no race. It causes people to be anonymous as far as looks are concerned. I have been surprised in the past by speaking to someone and later on finding out that they were not waht I pictured (male, Female, black white, foreign). It helped me apreciate how we really are all the same underneath our skins.
