I know, that makes me sick! You don't know how many times I get mad at ppl for that...they want somebody else to Google it for them and just give them the link...pure laziness.

None of my questions have been something I could look up. Later today I am going to ask about the best headphones to buy...Google can't help me there.
Besides, some people just want a specific answer really quickly that might take some time to look into, but somebody on here might be able to tell you all about it because it's their job to know or something.
Anyway, yes, there are some questions that are "dumb" questions. But not everyone is internet savvy yet so give them a break.

I have asked one question that I couldn't find on Google. Other than that, there are just some questions that cannot be answered by google.. such as people's opinions about certain current events.

Google doesn't tell you why your girlfriend left you or if navy blue is a color that enhances your specific skin undertone. Yahoo Answers gives you the opportunity to seek solutions and advice that are tailored to your needs with the friendliness of human contact.

I personally like to read the responses I gett back from real people. Especially when you intentionally poise a question
to aggrevate a certain response (*only when its done in fun and not offensive_like a joke). IT's great comedy.....You want get that from google!

Sometimes it's not the actual answer but the opinions of others. Makes it very interesting. Google doesn't have that :)

A large portion of yahoo answers users are seeking opinion and rarely fact.
Also most people don't know how to properly utilize -/+/"" and various other search engine strings that would vastly narrow search results. This is and effective way of being lazy.
