When I was reading your question, I immediately thought of the Rock in my mind. He is the best ever to step in the WWE. Whenever you saw him cutting a promo backstage, you knew something funny was going to happen. His matches were always fun to watch. He is also one of the few talented guys that the WWE pushed to main-eventers.(they ususally push big or largely overweight wrestlers) The Rock loved him no matter what, even if he was heel. he has a great physique and a great charisma when he stepped into that ring. His finisher The People's Elbow, even though was nothing special, he made it special and made it look so good that people loved it.
He is in Hollywood now but I hope he comes back. If he is reading this: " WE miss you Rock PLEASE COME BACK!"

My Favourite 2.
Undertaker - His character is awesome, and never people get tired of seeing it, he has a great entrance, and great in ring skills. He has the ability to create an incredible match. he also has the ability to make a match look brutal without the use of weapons. He really is a great in ring technician, and is extreemly well respected backstage. His mic skills we see very rarely, but this is down to the character he plays. If you go to a wreslting event live and ask people, who is the one person you want to see tonight, many will say Taker! Hes been doing it 17 years now. Hes got the look, the intimidation factor, the fan base, the entrance, the respect, and the in ring ability. hes a sure to be hall of famer, and although he is getting on a little now, im sure he will go on until 2010, and then retire 20 years after making his debut!
Shawn Michaels - His presence in the ring is unbelievable, he is such an entertainer, and has a true work ethic thats matched by none. The dedication to the business has earned him the upmost respect from everyone. Every storyline hes been involved in he has played his park so well, and over the years has had some brilliant matches, and worked the crowd extreemly well in the process. The Match against vince at WM22 was fantastic (vince played his part well in that match too) He has the ability to creat a lot of heel heat, and when playing the part of a face is ultra popular. His mic skills, are solid, he is truly faultless in my opinion and along with taker my favourite wrestler of all time.
There are other extreemly well talented wrestlers around but will they last as long as these two, and if they do how popular will they be in 15 or so years time.
If I was forced to make a decision..........HBK

I think w/o a doubt it has to be Hulk Hogan. Did he wrestle the most technical matches? No. But is he the biggest reason that we have sports entertainment? Yes. The Rock became to much of a gimmick after awhile and I always felt Austin was just a tad larger than him anyway. So my vote is Hogan! Think about how the crowd was behind Hollywood Hogan at WrestleMania X8 and he was supposed to be the "heel". They booed the Rock from the moment the match began.

I would have to pick Hogan. Many people will claim that his moveset is limited, which today it certainly is; however, in his heyday Hogan could hold a pretty good match. Also, during stints in Japan, Hogan proved that he could be quite the technical wrestler. The other areas Hogan clearly excelled in as well. I don't know of any bigger superstar in wrestling than Hogan, ever. Stone Cold came close, the Rock has great crossover appeal, but if you ask random people to name a famous wrestler, I guarantee Hogan will be the first the answer you get.

The Rock His mic skills are unmatched, he's humorous, sharp, makes use of quips, very exciting. His ring conditioning is godlike each and each and every time you spot this guy he's outfitted to compete. between the fastest WWE superstars to boot Rey, the sheer explosiveness of his strikes is godlike. the guy somewhat is acquainted with the thanks to get the target market going, even if he's a face or heel. you're going to video show the promo/tournament if the Rock is there because he's very charismatic even contained in the hoop. He makes use of a legandary finisher like the Hart Foundations Sharp Shooter. The all-time low created some spectacular feats (drilling the tremendous educate by the hoop, putting human beings by tables, etc.) The Peoples Elbow has countless likeness to it as each and everybody stands on their feet to witness the Rock's ceremonial elbow drop. His face has countless emotion. like the range of guy you could like as someone yet also contains a rugged, propose demeaner. he's between the few god tier superstars who hasn't sustained an on-going damage (Austin's neck, Triple H legs, even Taker's cursed with information from injuries) he changed into instrumental in the course of the recommendations-set era, thousands of thousands the international over take exhilaration in his skills.

Hulk Hogan is the best wrestling superstar of all time. Overall package nobody has matched his success.
Otherwise other great wrestlers are Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Andre the Giant, Steve Austin, Sting, and Kurt Angle.

The Game, HHH.
The man does all of the list as heel or face he gets the crowd up. Plus twice now despite serious injuries he has finished the show.
Top man and has stood the test of time.
