Just wondering how many Republicans still believe in this president and his decision making. Just curious, as I come from a family of Republicans, and they are mystified as to what in the world he is doing. My dad was so angry last night when I talked to him, as he has always been a Bush supporter, but says he needs to accept the help of others, as his current plan obviously has been a disaster.

I always believe what President of the United States of America George W. Bush says. After all, he is a honest and trustworthy man who speaks the truth and never lies to anyone. He is also a man who has a lot of compassion and care for others and when it comes to Iraq, President Bush is doing his part to make Iraq an allie with the United States and the Iraqi people are trying their best to become a democracy (like Turkey which is also a democacy) but if only Democrats stood with President Bush and the Iraqi Government and People, Iraq would be in better shape today than it was yesterday.

I was Republican until Bush. I now have more in common with the Democrats; it's really strange. I prefer smaller government, minimal interference in private lives, no religion in government, and no interventionist warfare. This used to be the Republicans platform, but apparently it's not anymore.

As a Republican I have stopped believing Bush since I saw with my own eyes the purged voter rolls of the 2000 election. Then the Downing Street Memo and its been downhill since then.

I live in a predominantly military/republican town and the consensus has been largely negative.

I still support Bush...has your dad not noticed that Britain still has troops in Iraq?...so are several other countries..however, if you and your dad were to recheck your history, you'd find that Bush DID go to the UN at first, and the French and Russians dragged their feet so much that Bush had no choice but to tell them "with or without you"...

Do I believe in Bush? Yeah - I believe he let bin Laden cornhole him - thats why he ignored all the warnings before 9/11 that terrorists were planning to hijack airplanes and fly 'em into buildings!

Yes I do, as do most true Republicans.

By the way - What exactly is the disaster? War is war, people die. Is it the deaths that you consider a disaster or are you going with the popular theory?

He has done fine things for this country. He ended the recession. The stock market is all time high, employment is low, wages and employment are up. Medicare has been changed to pay for medications. We have had no attacks since 9/11. I think what he is doing now is the right thing. It maybe should have been done sooner.

Any reasonable republican has stopped believing in Bush. Republicans are all about fiscal responsibility- but by their definition, he (Bush) spends like a liberal! lol. I heard this comment from a republican!
