Perhaps I should have said Democrats and not Liberals, this is an Honest question because most of the time, you people act like you want to see us fail in Iraq, Success would mean stabilizing Iraq.

Of course we do. When we started the war I would openly tell people "I don't believe Iraq had WMD's or that we should be going to war, but I really hope I'm wrong." I was in the vast minority. Unfortunately I was right. The problem is what does "success" mean. To me at this point it means a stable Iraq where there is no civil war, and of course I want that.

I think it's so easy to tell what side someone is on just by how they answer some of these questions. I'm not really liberal or conservative but in the middle of the two. Anyways...I'd say yes. If we don't succeed that would mean we wasted all this time over there and I'm sure no one wants that.

What do you mean by "succeed"? If that means ending the civil war/sectarian violence and establishing a pro-Israeli/pro US government then I would have to say that is in the realm of the Twilight Zone and not even possible. If success is that we can get our troops out without the entire region exploding then that is the hope of liberals. With the current situation in Iraq even that seems like wishful thinking.

Yes of course. Some of the answers to this question are just plain idiotic. Liberals don't dislike our country. Our country was built on the idea that we can question the actions of our leaders, especially when Americans have been losing their lives in a war that was completely unjustified and has no end in sight. 4 years we have been there and things are worse today then they were yesterday. I don't hate Bush, just what has happened to our country. America has always been a peaceful country, now we are an aggressor, randomly bombing countries we don't like.

I am VERY liberal...and I want people to stop killing each other...regardless of the reasons religious or political. That is my idea of "success" in Iraq. Any TRUE "Christian" would say....and DO the same.

No because they show little to no compassion and care towards the Iraqi people who suffered for over 30 years under a dictator who did not care for his people.

yes, but what is success? we have gotten rid of their dictator. we have given them a democratic government. we have trained their troops and police. When does it end.

I am against the U.S. putting itself in a position where it could fail.

By the way thanks to all those republicans who think they can answer for us. You did a terrible job of it by the way.
