I think there was a t.v. movie about them and I think Dick van Dyke played Laurel. I could be wrong but I always thought he would make a great Stan Laurel.

i would love to see a film.. laurel and hardy are the greatest comedy duo of all time. not sure who could play them though

give you a piece of trivia about Stan laurel..........after his stint with hardy he retired to battlefield in Glasgow and the strange thing is my mother stays in the same tenement building where he spent his last years.....
