You won't blow your motor, just unhook the sparkplug wire to that cylinder. I had one one time with a broken rod, and a scored crank so I pulled the piston and rod out and drove it on the remaining 3. Kind of slow :(

I think the answer to the question is why is it only running on three cylinders as the priority, has it been serviced latley ? have you had the ignition system checked out ? have you had the fuel system tested ? have you had compression and cylinder leakage tests done ? rather than driving it i think you need to go to a garage or get a mobile tuning guy to come out and check all the systems and find out whats wrong then you can decide what to do ? at the least the vehicle will be throwing out extra pollution and it can aslo ruin the cat if it has one and as others say if its still injecting fuel riund that cylinder by washing oil away ! to get it diagnosed would be about £35 !

Do a compression test all cylinders. They should be close to 90 lbs. Check the wire and spark plug at the cylinder in question. If any thing is wrong fix it. I'd suspect you may have a broken valve spring or a valve partially stuck open. These things are super easy to fix. Yes you can drive it but your fuel economy will suffer and as you know the motor is down on power. IMPORTANT: Check your engine oil leval often, at least once a week. If the level rises gasoline is washing down past the piston rings filling the crankcase with fuel. Change your motor oil. Best of luck.

The cylinder will wear out very quickly as the unburnt fuel will wash the lubricating oil from the cylinder walls, the catalytic converter may be damaged, the engine oil could become saturated with petrol, damaging gaskets, seals and the cambelt; and you could end up with a underbonnet fire if the fuel dilutes the engine oil to the degree that it becomes readily flammable.
It may be a very simple problem to sort out, but can lead to disaster.

It isn't going to explode, but you should get it fixed as it is an environmental hazard/gross polluter, and it does put strain on the other cylinders and it will not be long till you have 4 dead cylinders, stuck in traffic.

It depends why the cylinder is not working, for example i wouldn't recommend it if its still injecting fuel into that cylinder because it may end up in the exhaust system, and you don't want it to ignite in your exhaust system really.

I think I have betters things to do.
