All clouds with which we are familiar occur in the lowest layer of the atmosphere, the troposphere. Some clouds form in the upper stratosphere and the mesosphere in polar regions. These very high clouds reflect sunlight long after the sun has set giving them their name "noctilucent" which means "shining at night" in Latin.

Don't expect to see them unless you are in Antarctic or Arctic regions.
