scroll down in this link a little ways and it talks about a few of the things (not too in-depth granted.. but it gives a good idea) he plans to do.

Wages will not be cut. California has to compete for employees nationwide, and folks working there need to afford the cost of living.
Prices will probably rise for certain goods and services. Hosuing prices are already the highest in the U.S., so it won't necessarily effect them.
But in countries which adopt universal health care, there is a NET GAIN to the economy that is shortly realized after start-up costs are accounted for.
There are other considerable benefits to many working people, as well, financially.
But it's also the RIGHT THING TO DO. It's Moral -- ever heard of that?

Yes, wages will be cut. prices will rise. Health care will recuce. No, employers won't accept lower profits. If he did something to stop illegal immigration, health care would be affordable.

They proposed taxing doctors income and hospital profits in order to pay for all the healthcare. The measure probably wont pass, it will have to be refined a million times and then, if it does pass it will probably be overturned in the next election by the voters. Proposition whatever the number wont make it past CA voters afraid of anything that costs money.

California is going to make it a law that you have to have insurance. Just like auto insurance is a Law and you must have proof of insurance in you car. You will have to carry proof of insurance at all times.
This will link everyone to a database with your personal information.
The Insurance salesman that sold this deal will get at least a billion dollar commission check.

Yes, look at wage levels in Canada vs the USA, they are 30% lower. however, if you consider how much you are paying out of pocket it is probably a wash.

Business will leave the state and no new business will come there. California actually lost people last year. I left two years ago after 46 years and will never go back.

There will be a slightly higher tax on doctors and hospitals, I believe. Also, I think only the *children* of illegals will be covered, as they are kids, and have no control over what laws their parents break.

the money will come from higher taxes, which arnold is disguising as "fees" to employers and small businesses. this is against the constitution, for in california it must be presented to the people for approval before taxes can be raised. if he does this, i can see no other resolution but for the republicans, if we have any, any conservative leadership at all anywhere in the united states, to take him to the supreme court and sue his damn ***. god, that makes me mad!

We will cut the wages and raise the costs of insurance. It is the only fair way to keep my bonus checks from being lower. I don't think I should have to lose my bonus just for a bunch of sorry worker class people.
