"why call it a royal rumble when the Americans don't have a royal family?"
What about 'King Kong Bundy', Jerry 'The King' Lawler and 'King Booker'.....
I think Shawn Michaels will win the Rumble. The plan was for Triple H to wrestle John Cena at Wrestlemania but that's now shot. It makes sense on so many levels to have Shawn win the Rumble. Along with Edge and possibly Randy Orton he is the only top-level stand-out quality star on Raw. The Rumble takes place in San Antonio, Shawn's home town. We know that while he is not in any way the HBK of 10 years ago, Shawn could definately pull a 4-5 star quality match out the ever improving in the ring John Cena. Cena-Michaels would also be a fresh main event. They are two top stars whose paths have yet to cross. It would definately sell PPV buys for Wrestlemania. It's a face vs face dichotomy which would, in theory at least, split the fans. There are so many reasons why Shawn Michaels should, and hopefully will, win the Royal Rumble.
If it's not Shawn I would like to see Randy Orton win it. The build for he and Cena at Wrestlemania could be built around who is the best young talent in the Company and who is best placed to lead the Company for years to come. Cena and Orton are both young and have been in the WWE for similar periods of time. Jonny Nitro would be an outside choice for me to win the Rumble but I don't think they'll give him that ball just yet.
Whatever happens I hope to God it isn't Umaga or The Great Khali who win. Umaga is a good character but he's not a Wrestlemania main-eventer. The Great Khali doesn't even belong on Heat, let alone the biggest stage of them all. As a massive 'Edge-Head' I would not be dissapointed if he won but as big a fan of Edge as I am, I think we're all done with seeing him and Cena in a feud.

As much as I'd love to see HBK or HHH for that matter, I don't think either of them will win. Definitely not HHH. Randy Orton will win. It's his turn for a push. I mean, there aren't very many guys left to push for a title shot.

I would like to see Kane or The Undertaker.
But remember that the rumor of The Undertaker losing at Wrestlemania it's exactly that a rumor.
