I don't hate him, but I don't approve of the type of person he is, and I don't think his behavior sets a good example for our son. Like the saying goes - they are an "ex" for a reason. My ex is a heavy drinker and is verbally and physically abusive. He also refuses to keep a steady job, and instead chooses to work under the table for cash. It's his way of paying as little child support as possible. When we were married, he would make fun of me because I was conservative with money, and would rarely go shopping for myself (I was a stay-at-home mom, so we survived on one income, and there always seemed to be something that we needed that was more important than me going out and buying a bunch of new clothes). He also made fun of me because he said I must be obsessed with having a clean house, because I was always cleaning (I had no choice if I wanted a clean house because my ex was and is a slob). Now my ex has remarried, and his present wife rarely cleans house or does laundry, and is constantly out shopping, spending money, and running up credit card debt. Some people just don't know when they are well off. From what my son tells me, my ex and his present wife constantly argue, and one of them is always threatening the other that they are going to move out. I think it's kind of funny that my ex ended up with someone like his present wife, and I thank God each and every day that I am no longer married to him. I got re-married 2 1/2 years ago to a wonderful guy, and because of his love and support, I was able to quit my job and start my own medical transcription business. Living well (and being married to an awesome man) really is the best revenge!

I don't hate him, but I'd like too. Especially since I found out a month ago that he has a great job, making great money working for Lockheed Martin. Boy did I ever shoot myself in the foot! lol

I don't waste energy hating him for the most part, except twice a year when he picks my kids up, he does not exist to me.
