Yes it is real. human sex lowers your spiritual energy so trying to lucid dream or astral project becomes very difficult. Sometimes you can be blind or paralysed if you don't "go without." the book "Astral Dynamics" does a good job explain how things work. This is just a stepping stone though. If you like sex and spirituallity they can go together very well but you have to be aware of how they go together.

I guess if you believe in astral projection, you could have astral sex, why not. But I personally think both are just very vivid dreaming.

Absolutely - you think we're just limited to what solid things we can see here? We all have a life outside out body. I can't begin to explain all the astral experiences I've had... and the why's and how's of it all... but yes, it's there, and it's real - very real. I met my current husband on the planes... before I knew him in this physical realm, I knew him "out there." We found each other here afterwards... that was 2 years ago. Too hard to explain.

I think the people who practise it BELIEVE that it's real, and that is the most important thing. I think it sounds like it takes way too much time, concentration and commitment for me to bother.
