you've got to keep them clean and put a good coat of wax or polish on them once a month, if you can.

Take them off.

Seriosly, not much you can do, there's no cover for wheels. Just polish them every once in a while and enjoy. Everything wears down, it might get some scratches from road salt and ice and whatnot. So will your paint, nothing you can do there.

take them off and store them in a dry place till summer or weather that does not need salt on the streets...

I would also clean and wax them before i store them....

wheele wax will help. it makes them easy to clean too.

JUST KEEP THEM CLEAN GIVE THEM A RINSE IF THERE'S BEEN SALT ON THE ROAD.
