This morning i woke up with sharp pains like menstrual cramps. Is this the baby moving or the uterus growing or maybe Braxton Hicks??
The pain lasted about 15 minutes and after 1 hr a i had (since i got pregnant) a major whitish vaginal discharge, that is now gone.
Is this normal??

Sounds normal as long as there is no bleeding. Sharp pains are most likely round ligamient pains due to your growing uterus - they are different from cramping.......The discharge is common as long as it is not bloody. Of course, check with your dr to make sure. Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

Probibly round ligament pains and not related to the white discharge. Your uterus is growing and stretching. Some of us lucky ones will suffer with these severely until about 34w pregnant when the uterus stops growing. Mine stopped hurting at about 35w pregnant. I'm currently 36w pregnant. It's much nicer when those stop trust me hehe.

sounds pretty normal, every time i get up from sitting for a little while i get a pain in my lower stomach.
discharge is normal throughout pregnancy as long as it is not pink or brown tinged or red (well it is ok at the end b/c it is the mucous plug).
if your worried call your dr to be sure.

You should see the doctor. That could have been your mucus plug.

Otherwise, it could be round ligament pain, but I would go get checked, or at LEAST call the doc.

you know, its better to be safe than sorry. see your dr asap. you don't want to risk the life of your baby or yourself for that matter. its better to ask your dr than people on the internet. everyone's pregnancy is different
