I am researching characters for a book I am in the process of writing the main character I want her to be a little different not be a cop detective bounty hunter etc but have a career w/the good guys she is young 31, petite, brn hair just past shoulders in a layered cut big brn eyes 5'2" weighs 110 pretty funny beginning to get jaded by her job not married no kids lives in ? works for? parents eccentric grandpa her best friend she lives in 2 br apt in the city her family lives just outside the city serial killer leaves notes to her victims are random until she realizes she knows all of them from sometime in her life he tortures them for as long as he can trying to keep them alive as long as possible then leaves them still alive tied up bleeding or hard to breathe slowly dying but will die becomes race if she can figure out who and who and where the next victim will be. So, what career? with details, any names? what city? How about seattle or portland im from michigan what do you think

You would be dealing with forensics in crime scenes. This is exciting, ever watch Law and Order SVU?? Yes this shows forensic science at its best. People finding out how a crime happened, making a timeline, finding blood, fingerprints and other things pertaining to the scene that can solve a crime. Good job.
