Who are you the CIA, the FBI or a member of Bush's war team? Yeah the answer is 3675. That is the problem an Al Qaeda terrorist is often one who is not identified as being so. Now if you want the number of known Al Qaeda terrorists from the list of the most wanted then that would be another question that may be answered by googling the idea.

No one really knows. It's like we hear that some "al quaeda operative" or "2nd in command" etc has been killed! Yet we don't really know who these people are. These Arab names also are very similar. Actually when we hear about all of these killings, it's usually reported along with the number of innocents who have been killed also. What gets me is when we're told that
"so and so has been killed along with other insurgents" after they've been bombed to pieces from the air or blown apart by some other weapon, we have to wonder how they get an accurate head count.
"Terrorists" are born and bred everyday. And thanks to Bush, there's a new breed coming....

I desire i might want to allow you to comprehend an actual form. one ingredient is for particular; there are truly more effective Iraqi's being lured into growing a member of them because the U. S. led invasion began. all of us likes to imagine Hussein become so undesirable, and per chance he become yet, there by no ability might want to were this way of violence and chaos contained in the streets below his rule. Does every person comprehend that, previous to the warfare, Iraq become between the most cutting-edge and secular of all mid-east international places and that it had a center classification? Now that the west has bombed it lower back into the stone age, is it any ask your self the religious zealots are operating amuck? in the previous it appeared the so-referred to as "insurgents" were coming to Iraq from different international places. attributable to the warfare, there are literally Iraqi's who've lost there houses and their households who've no longer some thing left, yet to soak up hands and meet up with this way of Sunni or Shiite communities. Al-Qaeda become only the start. this received't end with the shortcoming of life of them. thanks plenty GWB.

Okay, Zipperhead
Al Qaeda Terrorists do not carry ID cards in their wallets.
They do not have neon signs on their heads that say "I am a terrorist you get ten points" ....but they do have a lotta hate.
Every time the USA blows up a village thinking they Are killing the enemy...they CREATE more hate and more people that wanna kill americans. Fact zipperhead
We are creating....more terrorists than we are killing, that is why we are gonna lose.
There are 2.5 million Iraqi's in Sadr City alone..that is one large section of Bagdad....the DUH YA..USA is trying to control the whole country with a mere 130 thousand....NO WAY...JOSE
The numbers do not add up....
your answer...It does not matter how many we have killed...But it does matter how many of OURS they have killed.
We won the BODY count in the Vietnam WAR ...3.5 million to 58 K and still lost...DUHYA.....WE LOST..WE LOST DUHYA

According to Abu al-Masri, approximately 4,000 foreign fighters were killed in Iraq up to September 2006. These include not only terrorists who carry out suicide bombings but also insurgents who stage armed attacks at army convoys and barracks.
However, there are other fighters in Somalia, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia etc.
I think it would be difficult to give exact estimates regarding the losses al-Qaeda had since late 2001.
But experts believe that about 3/4 of al-Qaeda leaders are believed to be captured or neutralized. A White House fact sheet listing those captured or killed includes: Mohammed Atef, al Qaeda's senior field commander killed in a bombing raid in Afghanistan; Abu Zubaida, Osama bin Laden's field commander after the killing of Atef, captured in Pakistan; Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, mastermind of the September 11th attacks, captured in Pakistan; Ramzi Binalshibh, a coordinator of the September 11th attacks, captured in Pakistan; Hambali, top strategist for al Qaeda's associate group Jemaah Islamiah in Southeast Asia, captured in Thailand; Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, al Qaeda's chief of operations in the Persian Gulf, captured in the United Arab Emirates; Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani, a suspect in the 1998 bombings of the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, captured in Pakistan; and Abu Issa al-Hindi, a central planner of detailed reconnaissance of American financial institutions, captured in Britain, Omar al-Farouq al-Iraqi: captured in Afghanistan but killed in Iraq after fleeing the detention facility in Bagram, Afghanistan.
Again, my dear American friends, the numbers are hard to prove or verify. But one thing is certain, according to analysts, the mission to kill or capture the leadership of al-Qaeda has not been completed, though Americans have partially succeeded in it.

the war on terror will NEVER end. we dont know how many terrorists we've killed becasue most of these people are just ordinary citizens.........ordinary citizens that decide to strap bombs to themselves in proclomation to allah. the reason that the war will never end is because those loonies in the middle east continue teaching this radical jihadist islam to their children. they will never stop the bombing and killing and other acts of terror until all of the U.S. and Israel is wiped of the face of the earth. and trust me, we are f'in bad**ses and we are never leaving.
but israel, now thats another story. if we dont start to act soon, Iran and Syria and Jordan and Saudi Arabi and Hezbollah will. they want to completely destroy all of Israel. and trust me on this as well, Iran is not trying to get nuclear energy for electricity purposes...

According to the 2nd in command in Al-qaeda, Iman al-zawhiri, over 4,000 al qaeda foreign fighters have been killed in iraq.
Worldwide, the numbers are hard to pin down, but intelligence sources believe that another 1,500 to 3,500 have been captured or killed.
