I hope not! He might have been eating MRE's from that factory in Houston Texas who had the largest government contract for MRE's! That is, until the FBI accidentally found that almost all of their employers were part-time illegals in which the company forged their documents! Anything for a buck I guess! They were all convicted. A miracle!
I doubt if Bush knows what an MRE is! We sure didn't have them in Vietnam! We had left over C-rations from the Korean war!

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.
According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

And your point is? Are you saying that, because the President never ate an MRE that he cannot command the troops? I encourage you to read the Constitution; in it, you will read that the overall authority of the military is to be CIVILIAN. Perhaps you should take a page from your own book- if you have never been elected president, you have no standing or right to criticize him.

Probably..just for the jolly old hell of it.
I was USCG for ten years. At no point did we have to resort to military rations for sustenance..
Except when I was in Adak(1975-76) and we ran out of smokes and decided to avail ourselves of old c rations because in the old days they included cigarettes in ration packages.
Has anybody who has ever been in the military NOT given military combat rations the taste test?
Note: I loath Dubya but I don't concern myself with little irrelevant details. I concern myself with the Republican Administration LYING through their teeth to get us into Invasion of Iraq which was what DUBYA wanted before 911. 911 was a convenient excuse.
