They are saying that they have heard your spouse talk about you, but aren't going to tell you what the conversation consisted of.

first of all, how well do you and your spouse know this person, then you have to ask yourself what exactly is there motive for telling you this. they're trying to start trouble but you will need to find out why, and ask yourself do you really trust this person? maybe they are the type of person that isn't happy unless everyone else is miserable.

I would say that your spouse is talkin smack bout you behind your back to that person! I'd confront the spouse and tell them that if they got a problem with you then to tell you so you can resolve it!!

You need to watch that person that's telling you that. They may be trying to start confusion between you and your spouse.
