If 750,000 troops hadn't been cut under Clinton's watch, troops wouldn't be on their third tour of duty!

I love your comment "Military success is a failure of liberal beliefs!" That's why they are going wild now with bashing. They are afraid we will win.

Bush loves the troops soo much he wants to extend their tours in Iraq and cut veteran benefits. He really cares about america's young servicemen, thats why we are fighting Israel's war over there so jews can make money off the middle class here.
Fact.

The republican administration and congress...
- Started a war based on lies, basically throwing away the lives to 3000+ American troops so oil companies get a better deal on Iraqi oil.
- Let incompetants run the war, resulting in the rise of a insurgency, and thus causing more GI deaths.
- Allowed Haliburton and other companies to charge huge prices for work never completed... and then fired the one administration official who was demanding that contractors actually do the work they were hired to do
- Cut funding to the VA and cut research on head trauma injuries (the most common injury from this war)
Libs care for the troops through their actions (like Franken doing USO tours in Iraq), while conservatives only spout accusations and rhetoric.

i changed into contained in the protection rigidity for a lengthy time period decrease back contained in the mid-90s. I assure you, i changed into not in any respect had to be a "educated killer." i turned right into a foul baby, from a sh*t hollow little city without jobs. My dad and mom kicked me out of the homestead the week when I became 18. I had no concepts, no desire. I pronounced the protection rigidity as a fashion out of homelessness. I not in any respect had to flow kill human beings, i wanted a roof over my head and nutrition on my plate. do not anticipate that basically because you're contained in the protection rigidity which skill you want to flow kill issues. often times its basically an act of desperation. i changed into hostile to the warfare in Iraq from the starting up. at the same time as we were giving the neo-cons their moist aims, the guy who masterminded 9/11 changed into (and continues to be) loose. If each and each and every of the protection rigidity that were given despatched to Iraq changed into in Afghanistan, perchance Bin Ladin might want to have had to respond to for his crimes with information from now. yet i guess we will not in any respect understand.....

No. Supporting the troops mean only sending them harms way if it is absolutely necessary. Not sending them to secure oil fields.

We criticise the leaders of the troops. We do not criticise the troops for doing their job. It's not their fault that they're stuck in a pointless, unwinnable war - the only thing that happens every day is Iraq sinks further into chaos and more people get killed. What is the point in keeping soldiers there if the war CANNOT be won - and if the war CAN be won, then what the hell is taking so long?

Do you really want to take on people who are more intelligent then yourself?
Are you a Neo-Con just because your parents are?
Liberals care about others.. troops included. When you care about someone you don't want to see harm come to them. If these individuals are in the service of the country and are in harms way for un-just reasons.. then yes.. Liberals will speak out.
They do so out of love and compassion for those serving the country.
The War in Iraq is a sham, a lie... a trick. You really need to read the Wolfowitz Doctrine my friend.

I never noticed ANYONE bashing troops -that is unless you want to count those who are calling for the troops to lay down arms and let Bush and his cronies take care of this "surge"...
on the other hand. there is no worse 'bashing' of troops than Repubs looking at the 'surge' only one way...and that way is that no matter how your president laid it out, he's still putting thosands of troops in harm's way, as he always has.

Typical Democratic method. Save face to gain votes, then after, remove your mask and show the beast inside.
We saw it in the last presidential election too. Damnocrats love to tell people what they want to hear, even if it contradicts something they said 3 days before.
At least when the Republiscum speak, they stand by, and back up what they say, even if they're wrong.
