More than likely you will not be able to find a homemade remedy for this problem, I work as a computer tech and have tried all the "tricks" wax, petroleum jelly, rubbing compound, and tons of other stuff, mostly with poor results. As many times as this happens to people if there was an easy fix we would all know about it. The best way I know of is the disk doctor, it almost always works, however it cost $99. There are cheaper models out there that should produce similar results. It should be noted that if the scratches are on the top of the disk it is ruined, most people flip their disk upside-down when they don't put them in a case to try and protect the bottom, that is incorrect as scratches from the bottom are repairable but anything that removes anything from the top turns it into a shiny coaster.

Go to a local computer store... I recently bought a little machine that looks a lot like a cd player, it cleans them up pretty good..... As for a "home made" cure, I'm sorry i can't be of much help. But I will let you know if I can find anything.

nicely there is likely something incorrect such as your xbox. one element you could attempt is putting it in boiling water. My husband used to have this problem with a number of his video games. He study on-line that in case you position the disk in boilinb water for a pair seconds then it helps. It did really help with maximum of his disks. obviously it is not a premanent fix and could not paintings. also attempt cleansing your recreation tray and lens. they'd nicely be dirty and causing the mission. solid success.

There should be a facility at a local DVD rental shop where they buff up the surface of the disc to remove deep scratches. Should only cost a couple quid per disc but worth it if you cherish the disc enough.
