What colour do chameleons turn at night?

Do they turn Black or stay the same colour as they were in the day. And.. how could you tell if it was dark.

Also, what colour are blind chameleons?

Like Josh above said they go pale. This is because it doesn't make a diffrence what colour they are, its too dark out.

As for blind ones -- they kinda go with what temperature it is out side but it makes no diffrence seeing as they usally die becuase they can't evade predators or capture prey.
