Is this movie subtitled like "The Passion of the Christ"? I am thinking about seeing it.....but don't want to take my Husband if it has subtitles. Is it worth seeing?

Subtitles: Yes
Worth Seeing: Yes
Taking your Husband: No...unless he likes men challenging men..otherwise leave him at home with the remote.

P.S.: What a feast for the eyes....location, costumes, hair/makeup...and some incredible good looking men in loin cloths! The storyline is worthwhile and believable especially given the history/culture of the time.

Yes, it is definitely worth seeing.
The actors all speak Mayan but the movie has English subtitles.
The story is basically about a guy who is kidnapped from his village and is to be used as as a human sacrifice and how he gets back to his family. The actors in this movie are so good all you have to do is watch the action and expression on their faces in most parts of the movie.
Non stop action once it starts. The photography is stunning as is the representation of Mayan culture with its grisley religion and incredible body modifications and personal adornment of the Mayan people. One of my favorite parts is where a little Mayan girl scares the hell of the Mayan warriors with her predictions which soon come true.
Mel Gibson did a fantastic job of directing.
I have seen it 3 times with 3 different friends.
