will a MAC 17" Apple Studio Display Monitor designed for the G3 work with an 06 G5?

i have a G5 and am thinking of buying the 17" CRT for the G3. will it work with my G5?

Yes, you might need an adapter plug.
I just bought a new G5, and my old LCD monitor hooked right up with no problems (with the included adapter plug).
