He won't resign, just like he won't admit this was and his cabinet has made more mistakes then good decisions. He doesn't have to resign anyway, his term is up in 2 years. He may make it next to impossible for a Republican to keep the White House in 2008. His last ditch attempt to gain historical fame will most likely lead him to infamy.
