My personal opinion is no. Meyer absolutely demands respect and good conduct as well as dedication and work ethic. His mandate on absolute discipline would fall on deaf ears in the millionaire-playboy NFL of today. But I could be wrong!

Meyer is a great COLLEGE coach. He is an offensive mastermind, but his spread- option simply would not work in the NFL. Sure I think
he could adapt but I don't see that happening.

You never know. Some great college coaches move on to be successful in the NFL, however, former Florida coach, Steve Spurrier is probably wishing that he had never left Florida. But this day and time everyong is chasing the big bucks, coaches as well as players who leave early and enter the draft before receiving a college degree. Guess the coaches who move on think they will make great NFL coaches and players who move on never imagine that in the blink of any eye an injury could end their careers.

I don't think he would. And that's not a testament to his ability at all, he's a great coach, but he's a great College coach. College and NFL football are completely separate entities. Meyer is a great coach when he's dealing with people who are playing for glory, not for money. I think he would have a tough time working with players that will intentionally lose a game in order to prolong their playing careers.

I think he could be successful in the right situation. Florida fans would hate to see him go, but after a couple more 10+win seasons in Gainesville , I think the pros will come calling on Coach Meyer with mega-buck offers that could be very inviting.

After Spurrier and Nick Satans experiences I would have to say no. There is a big difference between dealing with kids and dealing with millionair ego-maniacs.
