My husband has an antique (junk) car. I want to call a hauling company that removes junk cars, have that vehicle towed away, give my husband $500.00 and then tell my husband that someone bought it. What do I have to do to get rid of that junk car? Can you give me specifics on faking a car for sale by owner?

If your husband owns that car then you have no right to sell it. He may be saving that car for resotration. If you don't want to destroy what trust you have in your relationship then don't sell the car. if it bothers you to look at it everyday...then get a car cover for it (they can be found at most auto stores such as auto-zone, advanced auto parts, or pep boys). but if the title to the old junk car is in your husbands name then leave that car alone. how would you like it if your husband threw away all but two pairs of your shoes and then lied to you about selling them? you would be devastated wouldn't you. then leave his belongings alone.

I think this is a bad idea. Would you want him to do something like this to you? Why don't you talk to him about it first and then try selling it together, you never know people buy junk cars all the time for parts and stuff. Try working it out together, that is better than lying.

No, the car DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU. It's not yours and you have no business doing anything with it.

How dare you even consider this kind of act against your husband!

You need to research that "antique (junk) car).
Collectors can pay way more than you think for what you have.
I've know people to buy a junk car for $3K just because it had a straight frame. Now if its Buick that is a junk car even if its new.

I wouldn't do that. You'd be lying and it's not your car to mess with or sell. Wouldn't you be pissed if he did something similar to you?

If you can't talk to your husband about removing the car, then you have bigger issues than the car.

Your husband will be pissed if you do that. Some antique (junk) cars are worth a lot of money even though they look like crap and don't run. You may hand him $500.00 but you may find out it was actually worth like $5000.00-$10000.00. I bet your hubby knows what that car is worth like it is and what it is worth if it was restored. You better watch out I see flames about to burn your a*s.

Don't do that. If that's his pet project let him have it.
Despite what you may think of it , it means something to him.

You could have worst problems than the old car. He could be cheating on you with a new woman.

what you are trying to do is ILLEGAL!!!

You simply live with it, if he will not get rid of it.

Or, sit your husband down and discuss it like reasonable adults. If that can be done in your case.

I would never do this to my husband.
