The next Metallica album will be released in the summer of 2007. Drummer Lars Ulrich:
I think we've realized that the creative process works a little slower for us than it used to, and we're OK with that. It's not a bad thing, unless, of course, you're waiting for a record.

What new Metallica album? The last I heard they were in the studio wit Rick Rubin. But I haven't heard anything since.

Nah, i purchased into all of those claims of it being better thrashy the perfect time round, earlier getting that nu metal tin-can drum **** St. Anger shoved on me, so cba to be exited in any respect this time. in the journey that they get rid of those drums, the nu bits and produce decrease back some solos you would possibly want to get something that sounds like the poppy factors of the black album once you're fortunate. yet i will crap a monkey if it sounds something like, say, ... And Justice For All or vacation the LIghtning.
