It depends on what carrier they are on. Usually it will be the phone number, area code first, @ the special domain set up by the carrier. For example:

14165551212@pcs.rogers.com Rogers
9025551212@msg.telus.com Telus
2125551212@cingularme.com Cingular
2125551212@messaging.sprintpcs.com SprintPCS
2125551212@tmomail.net T-Mobile (US)
2125551212@vmobl.com Virgin Mobile
2125551212@vtext.com Verizon
2125551212@messaging.nextel.com Nextel

Some are coming up with periods at the end of the addresses. Just hover your mouse over them to see what the full real address is. Of course replace the phone numbers with the mobile number of the person you want to send an email to. To find out what carrier the person is on, you can use this:
http://www.whitepages.com/9900/reverse_phone
However if they took their number to another carrier through number portability, it won't show up correctly. You'll just have to ask them what service they use!

By the way, you don't need WAP to do this, any web based email or anything. This will work with pretty much every phone. The email addresses are E-Mail to SMS gateways so the E-Mail will show up like a text message. You are limited to 160 characters, although the server may split the message into more than one part for you when sent. Others chop off the end so keep that in mind.

If you want the email to reach as an mms, which is most likely what you want, then it depends on the company, some do support some don't, usualy it's the number @ the server, but if you're talking about wap, then it's a different thing, using wap you can just open the email account, so all you have to do is send an email to an account that you later access it from phone, yahoo, hotmail and gmail are all accessible using wap.

I work at a cell phone store. You need a phone that is Email compatable. You can find out at the websight of your cell carrier if yours is. (Ex. Tmobile.com). If it is, on that same websight you just go throught the steps to set up your email account to be forwarded. Should be easy.

Emails are between computers only. If you want to send a message via a mobile, it's called a text message.
