i was wanting to do something nice for my husabnd soemthing that he wouldnt expect but i am drawing a blank. does anyone have any great ideas that i could do for my husband to show him how much i really do love him, and how great my life is because of him. i want to do soemthing out of the ordinary. we just recently had r son, he is 5 weeks old, and i am affraid that my husband is feeling ignored.

Get someone to watch ur son for a day. Then cater to ur husbands dreams (within reason) I mean the baby is only 5 wks old. But make him ur one and only for a day.

Well in a since he is being ignored. no ones fault that is just they way it will be for awhile. If your husband works, call him when baby is asleep and say hi to him, get someone to come in the house and clean abit during the day while you are there, the yuk things like the bathroom, dusting, laundry, i say this so when your husband comes home you are not to tired to want to be with him, and listen to his day. If he listens to the radio at work and you know the station call them up and dedicate a song to him.
have a meal that he likes, you can see the problem so you can do something, keep all baby things out of the bedroom, nothing is less romantic then baby things in a room for sex, what do you wear? dress nicer and wear some makeup, get a nap when baby does so you are not tired in the evening, since baby is so little he is sleeping alot still so an evening quickie would be a good thing.

If he is into sports buy two tickets to his fav team and go with him. If not find another activity that he really enjoys and clear a time for him to do it. A massage (sensual works), a fav dinner out, call his manager and make set up a day off for him with out his knowledge. When he gets up to go to work let him know that about the surprise.
Just tell him.
For those suggestion letters...guys are cool about it but we are a show don't tell kinda people. Love letters would be outstanding for a woman as it would show not only the feelings, but the time it would take to generate it. If you are truly looking for something super special that he would absolutely love... take him in the backroom and perform a sexual act that he wants you to do but you have not yet done or his fav act if you have no inhibitions.

yes! This may say crazy but write him a letter and it put some of these things in it.
1. A great big hug when needed
2. An hour of snuggling
3. A night out
4. A long lingering kiss
5. A stroll through the park
6. A foot/back rub
Little things like this lets them know you care and also gives you time together. This is also special things just you can do for him.
Also leave little notes and reminders of what he means to you.

Make him a nice dinner, put the baby to sleep, give him a massage and spend time talking to him. tell him how you appreciate him, I even write my husband notes when I think I am ignoring him or being hard on him, watch sports with him, just let him be your center of attention for awhile while the baby sleeps. Remember you need to feed and bathe the baby and put him to sleep so he will sleep for hours. Also, you may consider having your or his parents watch the baby for the evening. Then you can buy him a nice dinner and a movie out. Have fun...

Write him a love letter. Be specific about the qualities that you love, adore and respect about him. Tell him why he'll be a terrific father. Make it sincere and heartfelt. Put it in your own writing; if you're like me and have really crappy penmanship, put it on a piece of really nice parchment paper using a nice font (but no one that's too difficult to read) and sign your name.
You might also want to consider having it delivered with some guy-appropriate flowers (usually a plant with flowers to accent). If he receives it at his place of employment or has an office or desk the arrangement can sit on, all the better. Everyone will walk back and say "Whoa! Who sent you flowers?"

When I am at a total loss (or because I cannot look at him without screaming, wanting to scream or throwing something) I write him a letter, telling him exactly how I feel.
In this day of e-mail and cell phones, letter writing is a lost art.........and that much more special when you get one.
