Why don't you and your crush take a day or two away from each other and not talk to each other that way you both can go on with your daily life and as things happen. Like you heard a funny joke or your crush help someone then when its time to talk to each other then you have all these new topics to talk about.MMmm.

Why don't you just start out by asking how his day was...and then tell him all about your day. Usually those kinds of talks lead to other conversations about different subjects.
