I am a registered Independent. I never vote party-lines. I research the candidates and vote for the one that I believe will best represent me.

Neither, just because I am not an American. Nevertheless I am interesting always with the US. You have to know that millions of people in the world are looking towards the United States, and for us, especially for the countries and people deeply committed to the democracy and freedom is important a choice of Americans. We will appreciate any person as President of the US and any content of the Congress, because it will be a choice of Americans. I don't know about internal policy, but on the world area there is only unique country - the United States of America, last and best hope of freedom and democracy.

Mostly Republican, but some Democrat ideas are O.K.
Only voted for one in my life though. A pro-lifer with some good ideas.

I seem to be a mix. I believe in a lot of rep. beliefs. But I think more money should be spent on Americans here at home. The rest of the world can do with a lot less. Why should ewe be on the short end. And not every one is able to totally care for and support themselves. But It does take big business. So, see what I mean. ?

I lean Republican. I used to lean Democrat. Maybe I will change again!

One person described the ideal Republican/conservative philosophy as "liberty, opportunity, faith, security."

That covers a lot of what's important to me.

I'm registered Republican but my actual politics fall in the Libertarian/Authoritarian stratus. Pro-choice, pro-reform health care, pro-death-penalty, pro-military, lassaiz-faire gov, anti-welfare state, hawkish on border security and national sovereignty. I'm a patriotic nationalist.

I gotta say I kinda like Obama, if he is half the man he appears to be.

Thought this would be a nice pleasant political dialog, but then I got to Kellyrh's comments and there ya go liberals calling names and lying, why's it always gotta be like that.

Neither. I am registered as Unaffiliated.

I have been forced to vote mostly Democratic though ever since the lunatic right-wing fringe took over the republican party though.

Neither, I am, and always have been registered as a non-partisan voter. There are good and bad ideas in both parties. I don't like labels. My vote goes to the person, not the party he belongs to.

Neither. I prefer to vote for the man rather than the party.

All depends what issues are important to you, how particular candidates speak on that issue and whether you want to take the time to find that out.

Too many just find it more convenient to vote for a party.
