George foreman grill......... again- I just got my 4th this year.... Why does everyone think I need a george foreman???

chia pet-- useless and it just says that you wanted to get a gift at the drugstore really fast.
broken appliance-- why bother giving this? How do you think the gift receipient is gonna feel?
a donation in your name. Fine, it's a great gesture but it really doesn't meet the definition of a gift IMHO
potpourri-- not really a "guy" gift.
shoes-- this is really risky. If the shoes don't fit exactly right, you've wasted your $
restaurant gift certificate-- many ppl don't have 2 hours to spend in a restaurant. Your gift certificate will join the 15% of gift certificates that are never used.

Any gift that the giver gives just so they can say they gave you something. Any gift when the giver obviously didn't think about you at all when they purchased it.

Giving someone allergic to nuts a fruit cake
Giving a new mom a diet book
Giving a new mom clothes she couldn't fit into when she was 16!!!

When people don't tell you thank you for the Christmas gifts you get them. To me that is the worst Christmas gift and makes you not want to get for them next year.
