Taking the pill will prevent pregnancy 99 percent of the time...If you wish to get pregnant, you should go off the pill for at least 3 months (according to my doctors & many books I've read)...You may find that your period stays somewhat regular after going off the pill.

You will almost deffinantly not get pregnant on the pill if you are taking it correctly. But once you get you should be able to get pregnant pretty quickly if you want. The only reason the doctors tell you to wait is because it is sometimes hard to tell the gestational age of the fetus if you have not had at least one normal period after getting off of birth control.
I went off of the pill on Dec 4th. My doctor recomended one full cycle before trying to conceive. Obviously we didn't listen and I took a preg test last night and I am pregnant. I estimate that I am about four or five weeks pregnant.

If you're taking a birth control pill to regulate your period, then the chances of you getting pregnant are very low, as the main purpose for the pill is to prevent conception.

No. If you are taking a birth control pill to regulate your period you are still taking a birth control pill. Preventing pregnancy is the main use of the pill, although some people do it use to regulate periods.
