well we are all going to do what we want regardless of what the bible says. i believe God does know the future but he hopes that we will choose the right path. but he put that in there knowing that we are stupid and might go against everything he has said.

You may want to use punctuation in the future so that it's easier to understand what you are asking...

That said...

The Bible was written by men. There are some interesting words of wisdom that are useful in there, but it is only the work of the Divine in the same sense as the Tao, Koran, Baghavad-Gita or any other set of scriptures.

The Bible is a collection of stories about how one group understood the nature of the Divine, but it is NOT the fact or the absolute authority.

So on the question of gay people... If nature was designed by a divine being, and that being put gay people and animals into the system, I don't see how one could say that the Divine Being disapproves.

I'm not concerned about it at all.
If there were a "God" as they suggest, the "bible" wouldn't have had to be translated and spread around the world. If the plan was for "salvation" the words would have been given to every person around the world at the same time in a language that all can understand without need for interpretation or priests. As it stands that supposedly holy book is nothing but a list of myths and legends plagiarized and added to as time went on compiled by a bunch of men determined to attempt to control the world.

Well I totally agree with you, scholars have classify the Bible as the greatest fictional piece of work ever...We don't have to justify our self for being gay, we are who we are, God also wrote the ten commandments and it said nothing about being gay and those are the rules everyone should follow so before we go on trying to interpret a book we shouldn't judge others.....Besides didn't Adam and Eve sleep with there owe kids to make humanity populate??

Well i'd be pretty messed up if i disapproved of myself.

Get off your high horse. I don't follow your religion and I don't give a crap what you think your god said. I don't care what's written in leviticus, the whole book is a crock. Wear polycottons? Go to hell. Have a veg garden out back with more than one type of veg? Go to hell.

The problem i have is that because you find this tosh written in your `holy book` suddenly you have to get on peoples' backs about it and shout `sinner` at the top of your voice. Never heard of love thy neighbour? You can think i'm a sinner all you want, but i don't want to hear it and i don't want to be told about your faith in god that has absolutely nothing to do with me.

And even worse the kid above who wrote about jesus making him straight, get real. You are born gay, you have no choice over the matter. What happened in that case i suspect is that you were bi and you chose not to indulge in same-sex relationships and confine yourself to women. Well big whoop, but jesus didn't convert you and nothing about you has changed. Stop trying to convert the rest of us and live and let live. When you're without sin, i'll let you cast that stone, but until then, shut up.

I approve of all people. Sexuality means nothing. God, forgives everyone so, if he doesn't believe in gays he forgives you for not believeing the same as he does. Live being who you are, not who other people want you to be especially god!

I sure do approve.

The same passage in the Bible says eating shrimp, lobster, or crab is an equally bad 'abomination to God.' How many religious people are going to pull that juicy Shrimp Cocktail out of their mouth at Red Lobster, just to 'obey' the Bible?

Not many, is my guess . . .

I am not sure what you are wanting people to agree too. The Bible was written by men, inspired by GOD. If you are trying to justify a gay lifestyle it's just not going to happen. GOD loves everyone but GOD doesn't like sin

Since god didn't write the bible, its nothing but bound paper good for wiping one's @ss, correct?

I approve of all nice and decent human beings.

I read comic books, but I have enough sense not to take them as fact. Please grow some insight.
