My 3 month old daughter did that. She was facing forward the whole last trimester and it was hard to get her to move. I went in to the Dr three times for her not moving. I would still say to call your Dr if you do not feel movement after sitting and paying attention for 1 hour. I know with feet in my ribs it hurt so bad when she moved, most times I tried to ignore it, and than would have to really pay attention to feel movement for kick counts.
I also agree with drinking something sweet, I also did light belly rubs, changed position (laid down if I was up moving or sat up and walked around if I was laying down), and I took showers and than sat and waited for movement.
My Dr. told me this, If your baby is facing forward, your Dr can confirm this for you, expect less movement than if baby was facing backwards. They have even less room when facing forward to move around.
PS- If baby is facing forward it can sometimes cause a longer delivery, so I would consult the Dr. and find out the facts before deciding on pain meds, type of delivery, and other details like that.I was going to go all natural like my past two deliveries, but with longer labor I decided to use pain killers and am really glad I did.

My doc said to do this... Drink some orange juice, or sweet drink of some sort (without caffeine -- so no sodas!) Then if the baby doesnt' move in the hour after, go to the hospital and they will do a non stress test and/or U/S. Don't mess around with this stuff, especially at 7 months.

When i was pregnant with my son he constintly had his feet in my ribs. Its was so uncomfortable. The farther along i got I could actully make out his body parts on my belly. I could always tell where his little butt was. The not feeling movement could be a little worrysome though. Did your obgyn tell you about counting the movements? Good Luck!

How long since you've felt movement? 24 hrs or more? call dr and let them know, they can do a quick fetal heart monitor scan.
Feet in ribs is normal towards the end.

it can be try drinking some juice to get the baby moving and see how many times he moves in about 30 mins. to 1 hour if he doesn't move very much call your doctor they might want to do whats called a stress test to see why the baby isn't moving much.

in the last trimester babies slow down because of the lack of space you may not feel them move all the time. go to the doctorsa just to get it check out but i think your baby is fine. i went like3 times because ofthat fear
