It's always a different place and person. I'm running and running non-stop and just when I think they finally got me I somehow figure out a way to get away by jumping from buildings, swimming across rivers, etc but a few seconds later they are right on my tail and I'm running for my life again.

Dreaming that you are running away from someone, trying to avoid something or someone. You are not taking or accepting responsibility for your actions (childish). If you are running from an attacker or any danger, then it suggests that you are not facing and confronting your fears. Escaping like you do means you may be crafty with new plans and even like change, but you cannot escape and eventually you will have to confront your fears.

i have recurring dreams about natural disasters (im not paranoid about the weather) and "using the bathroom" in what i think is a private area, only to discover that its actually a toilet stuck in the middle of a party or a hospital waiting room or something.

do you smoke a lot (cigarettes/tobacco). or are you trying to quit smoking using nicotine patches or gum? nicotine can cause you to have crazy dreams (i know it did for me when i was on the patch)

it also sounds like you may have something emotional repressed, like a secret you're trying to ignore within yourself. is it possible that you're closet gay/closet straight? know something dangerous?

i know this sounds like guidance counselor answer, but how often do you watch action/horror movies or play action/horror games? these things can slip into your dreams as well

but recurring dreams are often the result of an underlying fear. remember that you often dream in metaphor, so not everything will be what it seems. from the sound of it, id put my money on you having an x-factor that you're ignoring, or trying to get away from.
