YES!!indeed...in case u plan to take up ur Management Degree in a top rated University in US...Some low ranking US universities however,do accept students with no previous job-ex...(the information 2 which u ll get by goin to the web sites of the respective universities).
The reason which these guys quote is that people with work-ex have acquired some sort of Leadership skills and have a better feel of market ,business and people as a whole so they will make better leaders and can be a big boost to economy of the nation( here nation in contention is US)...which s quite outlandish n difficult to digest...!
if its Australia or UK,u are interested in,most of the universities out there will offer Management degrees to people with no work-ex...Money may be an issue,however!

It is true that it requires 2 years of work experience to get into top most B schools through GMAT.

Of course not -- it is just a test. Anyone willing to pay for it can take it.

All of the top Business Schools want you to have four or five years of work experience -- but that is something different.
