why do laundromats hang on to crusty old arcade games that dont work. i tried to ask but they didnt speak english. i hate seeing an old streefighter game with screwed up controls and a blue screen!

because they want to take your quarters and not put any money back into things

I went to the laundromat once because my washer/dryer was being fixed. There was a game that has the claw thing and you can try to grab a bunch of prizes...well I think the thing was broken because I put 50 cents in and I got multiple turns, I must of walked out of there with 12 stuffed animals, no lie! lol I had to put them all in a plastic bag. They also had an old racing arcade game there that was all dirty and broken lol.

Be cause unsuspecting people will drop quarters into it just like you. Next time I went there I'd unplug it and cut the cord off!

put a for sale sign on it :) They can't afford to fix them just so people can beat the daylights out of them ..They need to remove them or suggest they give them to Good Will and get a tax deduction for it .

atleast yours has arcade games...mine has...blue chairs...outdated avon catalogs...and a radio that only gets one station..
