I am planning on moving to Vegas in the next year or so. My boyfriend is a huge poker player and we're hoping he someday makes us millions!! :) Anyways, we are looking to move somewhere more in the suburbs because we of course plan on having kids. We would like a nice neighborhood but of course until we have the millions ;) we are looking for something reasonable. Not sure which area's or cities to begin looking for places in!! Can someone help?? Much appreciated.

All of NW Vegas is nice or Summerlin community specifically. There is a moderate to mansion range and it is all brand new. Mostly stay on the west side of town. Once you cross the Strip on the East side you are screwed. The SW area is undeveloped but a huge up-and-coming area. All brand new.

Summerlin and the Southwest in my opinion are the best areas of Las Vegas. You can find reasonable apartments there until you buy a condo or home.

Try the SW or NW. As for living on poker winnings, a few people in this town do; they are casino owners! Good Luck

also look into the Southwest part of Vegas, mostly new area. Southern Highlands, or Mountain's Edge

Gamblers should never move to Vegas, you will become homless before you become millionaires.
As for suburbs, stick to the west side.
