My boyfriend has been in the U.S for seven years. He came here illegally with his parents when he was twelve years old. We been together for three years. He is now 20 years old and I am 18. I am a U.S. citizen. Where can we get married without them asking for proof that he is here legally?

You can get married anywhere in the U.S. You don't need any proof of citizenship. U.S. citizens can marry nationals from other countries. In addition, local municpalities/states are not allowed to inquire as to the citizenship status of an individual. He should use his bona fide documents to get married (his real birth certificate, passport) so that the validity of your marriage cannot be questioned from a procedural point of view. After you are married, he can apply for U.S. citizenship. Do not talk to immigration until after you are married. Best of luck.

if he is here illegally then you're in over your head. go back to mexico and then have him come back legally then get married. it is better this way than getting caught.

you're on your own with this one

nobody in this country have the right to ask him for his legal status in order to get married, he'll just need his birth certificate, passport, and pass the blood test
no worries, just do it
