Several films have done this (or came as close as technology at the time allowed), including Hitchcock's Rope.
Mike Figgis also used a 4-way split screen, each containing one unbroken shot without cuts, in Timecode.

It's already been done.
There's a 90 minute film called Russian Ark, that is all done in one take, and using the same camera.
It's a stunning piece of work.
