He wants playing time, which hes not getting in Spain so why not go to America its a reletively new footballing country so he will help them grow!and Posh has told him to go so that she can go shopping!

He's what 35 yrs old? with today's training and diet he has 5-6 more good years of playing time. Why should he give that up?Playing in the US he still has time to become the MSL all time goal scorer. And it will keep him in shape for the next world cup where he can still contribute for England.

I think he deserved one more game of football playing for England so he could have had a standing ovation when he left the pitch and a proper tribute last match.
He might not be playing so well now but he did deserve that at least..xx

he hasnt just signed to play football,his ability to attract kids to the game could eventually make usa one of the best fotballing nations on earth in a few years time
