All soaps that i have tried (Dawn, etc) tend to clog the pump and the dispenser stops working unless i take it apart and wash it out. Does anyone know of a thin soap that can be used ???

Really, I have one and have used Dial or Softsoap in them for the longest time with no problems. Maybe the pump itself is faulty, but I would say try using Dial or Softsoap, and if that still clogs it up, go to Home Depot or Lowes and pick up a new pump, shouldnt cost much, like 15$ or so. All you need is the pump mechanism, not the trim. They sell it by itself.

I use Soft Soap Antibacterial and it has never dried or stopped up... be sure to use the pump frequently for any soap to stay liquid.

Add water to the soap you have. I use full strenghth Palmolive or whatever is buy one get one and mine has never clogged.

Just thin yours down some. Or clean the pump.

I thought those dispensers were intended for HAND soap?????

Just thin whatever soap you want to use with water and shake well.
