Quantum Physics is the recognition in physics that there exists a constant in physics that relates two important physics concepts, Electrical Radiation Energy (E) and Radiation Frequency (f).
This constant is called the Planck's Action constant, "h =E/f".
Before Quantum Physics, physicists thought that electrical radiant energy was related to the amplitude of the radiation wave not to its frequency.
The Quantum Constant of Planck, h is a constant in a space and time universe. The Universe is a four dimensional space universe and the four dimensional constant is "L= hc", where c is the speed of light. Here the quantum constant gives the relation between energy and space rather the relation between energy and time.

The product of energy and space is a constant. That constant is
1.25 micro electrovolt meter. This means the energy in a 1 meter wave is 1.25 micro electrovolt or .2 pico pico joules.
The smaller the wave the bigger the energy and vice versa.

Quantum physics is the physics of the very small particles such as electrons and other sub atomic particles. It differs from Newtonian physics which studies larger object such as the planets orbiting the sun, or ordinary things we can see and touch in our world.
It is not an easy subject, so don't expect a detailed annswer from anyone.

quantum physics is the belief that everything is possible but it is really unlikely. according to quantum, while reading this you can disintegrate, appear on mars, disappear, land on the sun, and be back at your computer five min. before you left. simply, if you think you get it you don't get it.

Sorry, if it could be explained in yahoo answers, I wouldn't be about to take the a fourth course in it. Try wikipedia for an introduction - but don't expect to get much out of it if you don't know much math or physics.

Its a bit like learning to walk. No one can explain it in a way that makes any sense but you can do it if you try. You may never understand it since no body does understand it but you can do it. Does this make any sense(I don't think so)
