I had the same thing on my ceiling. I just use bleach to wipe it away. The trick is to keep the bathroom ventiliated. After you take a shower, leave the door open to let the steam escape. Hope this helps.

Spray a mixture of bleach or a product like Tilex on it and let it sit. You really don't even have to wipe it down, usually.

This will also retard future growth, but you have to use the vent fan or leave the door open when you shower to give the steam an escape. Take away the ideal environment (warm, steamy) and the mold will not thrive.

Bleach does work to kill mold. However, I have chemical sensitivites and have found that keeping a spray bottle of vinegar (white) and an extra toilet brush works as well. I live in the Northeast, near a river, so it just gets moldy. Keep it under control as best you can ... like daily. Good luck!

I used Lysol tub and Tile then a weak solution of bleach [about a 1-4 cup in 3 gasllon of water] and so far no mold return. try using your vent fan as much as possible also.

Clean it with a water/bleach solution and then paint your ceiling with mold resistant paint.

Bleach and water. Works every time. Make sure you run your fan or open the window when you shower.
