how can i save internet history to other location if i delete the history from the browser?

when you delete your history from the history tab in IE, it is not fully deleted... so can i make the internet history save to a different location, and it would still be there if it was deleted directly from the IE???

I know this does not make much since, but i need to know this...

In IE 7. Probably very similar in IE 6.

Tools -> Internet Options -> General Tab
Click Settings under Broswing History
Click Move Folder
Select your new location.

Yes, it will delete the history from that folder when you remove your history.
