Yes. Word advice try not to slam your ex friend to your mutual friends. It just puts them in the middle of your squabbles and causes problems for everyone. Good luck to you.

Its a hard one to get out of! Just try to spend less time with her and dont tell her all your secrets etc. Dont start rowing with her and be friendly but not as friendly as you used to be. Just dont put you mutual friends into a position that they have to deal with your bitching about her...

yeah just kind of fade away from being close to her like don't call her and don't return her calls but stay civil to eachother otherwise your mutual friends will be in a hard spot

Yes. It is complicated but if everyone is a mature adult, you can work around it. This often happens when a couple gets a divorce. You can still attempt to be friends with both people, but just be sure that you don't invite everyone to your birthday party! Just be sensitive and don't bring up the other person's name or give details and avoid gossip.
