i had encrypted some files in my account .But due to some virus i had to reload my software(windows xp professional) ,so my old acccount got deleted .now niether i can access those files nor can i remove the encryption . is there some way to remove the encryption through new account or to access those files ?

Ignore the other answer, it's not going to help you. The Administrator can change access rights and assume ownership of any file on the machine - but even the Administrator cannot decrypt files that have been encrypted by another user. Theoretically, only the user account that has encrypted the files can decrypt them. If that account is gone, so are the files.

In practice, however, you could try to crack the encryption. See the link below for a program designed to do just that.

you need to start your computer in safe mode, then log on as an administrator. next go to the file you want ownership of. right click it, and go to Security. then click Advanced toward the bottom. then add your name to the permissions list. then you have access to it, and it should work.
