The scandals don't hurt Democrats... especially past drug use. But two years in the Senate with freshman Senator committee assignments does not make for much experience.

Of course he's mired in scandals! The white hit groups spend all of their time trying to dig up dirt because he is black! Wish they went after Bush as hard as they are going after him!
I would love to have them dig up dirt on each of you and splash it across the newspaper! He did some drugs when he was younger! So what? Your current leader was busted with cocaine in Texas and he has been, and is, an alcoholic in denial!

well he would have a majority in Congress sympathetic to his cause. So he would have an easy time getting across his agenda of:
Decapitating Christians
Destroying Israel
Toppling the governments of Saudi-Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and Afghanistan.
